D1 : TANA / ANDASIBE
Departure at 08H00 to Andasibe (3H30 drive). Visit of Pereyras reserve on the way. This reserve has a remarkable collection of colorful frogs, chameleons and insects.
Continuation to Andasibe and free lunch.
At sunset, we go for a night walk in the rainforest to observe the nocturnal fauna : Goodman’s mouse lemur, chameleon… Free dinner.
Night in Andasibe
D2 : ANDASIBE / PN ANALAMAZAOTRA (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and during the morning, we discover the Analamazaotra National Park, we observe the largest lemur the Indri and the Diademed Sifaka. About one hundred bird species leave in this middle altitude rainforest, among the Souimanga Sunbird and the brown Mesite. If we are lucky we will find the big Parsoni Chameleon and colored frogs like the golden Mantella.
Free lunch and in the afternoon we visit the Vakona private reserve, we will approach the lemurs on the little Island.
Return to the lodge and free dinner.
Night in Andasibe
D3 : ANDASIBE / MANAMBATO / ANKANIN’NY NOFY (B)
Breakfast at the lodge and departure to Manambato (3H30 drive). Arrival and speedboat transfer on the Pangalanes Channel to Ankanin’ny Nofy (1H of boat).
Arrival and installation at the lodge and free lunch. Leisure afternoon.
At sunset, we go by boat to a small island to observe the very rare Aye aye, a nocturnal specie. We will observe the beginning of their activity and looking for their meal.
Return to the hotel. Free Dinner.
Night in Ankanin’ny Nofy
D4 : ANKANIN’NY NOFY / TAMATAVE (B)
Breakfast at the lodge and during the morning visit of the Palmarium Reserve. In the past the reserve was a palm plantation. The forest shelters black and white ruffed lemur and brown lemur and carnivore plants.
Free lunch and speedboat transfer to Tamatave (3H of boat). Arrival and transfer to the hotel, free dinner.
