D1 : TANA / ANDASIBE
Departure at 08H00 to Andasibe (3H30 drive). Visit of Pereyras reserve on the way. This reserve has a remarkable collection of insects, reptiles and amphibians of the island. The chameleon, stick insects, frogs, geckos and colorful are well represented and are easily observable. Free lunch and continuation to Andasibe, in the afternoon, visit of the private reserve of Vakona. Possibility of approaching several lemur species: brown lemur, black and white ruffed lemur or eastern woolly lemur sleeping in the tree trunks… Transfer to the hotel and free dinner. D2 : ANDASIBE / MANTADIA NP (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and day dedicated to discover the Mantadia National Park, we observe the Diademed Sifaka. About one hundred bird species leave in this middle altitude rainforest, among the Souimanga Sunbird and the brown Mesite. If we are lucky we will find the big Parsoni Chameleon and colored frogs like the golden Mantella. Of course we can observe the Diademed Sifaka and Indri. Picnic lunch in the park. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. At sunset, we go for a night walk in the rainforest to observe the nocturnal fauna: Goodman’s mouse lemur or weasel sportive lemur, chameleon… Return to the hotel and free dinner. Night in Andasibe
D3 : ANDASIBE / ANALAMAZAOTRA NP / TANA (B)
Breakfast at the lodge and during the morning visit of the rainforest of Analamazaotra NP. We can observe easily the largest lemur, the Indri, grey bamboo lemur or red bellied lemur. Return to the lodge and free lunch. Then departure to Tana (3H30 drive). Arrival and transfer to your hotel, end of services.
