Biking Tour 6N/7D 

D1: TANA / ANTSIRABE

Departure at 08H00 to Antsirabe (3H30 drive – 170km). Free lunch in town and transfer to Tritriva lake in the afternoon.
We bike the last 10km track to the mysterious lake, then we visit and walk around the lake. Possibility to bike again the 10km to the national road.  Transfer to the hotel, free dinner.

D2: ANTSIRABE / AMBOSITRA / RANOMAFANA NATIONAL PARK (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Ambositra (2H drive – 90km). Visit some woodcarving workshops and marquettery. Free lunch in Ambositra and continuation to Ranomafana NP (4H drive – 170km).
On the way possibility to bike for the last 15km or more before Ranomafana along the Mangoro river.
Arrival and installation at the hotel.
At sunset possibility to go for a night walk to observe the nocturnal fauna: brown mouse lemur, chameleons and frogs. Free dinner.

D3: RANOMAFANA NATIONAL PARK / FIANAR (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and full morning dedicated to the discovery of the rainforest of Ranomafana National Park, which houses several species of lemurs as the Golden and Greater bamboo lemur or Milnes-Edwards’ sifaka, chameleons and peacock day gecko.
Free lunch and departure to Fianar (1H30 drive -70km).
Highlands landscapes on the road with rice terraces, typical villages, and scenes of life. Possibility to bike between Ranomafana and Fianar along the road.
Arrival in Fianar, installation at the hotel, free dinner.

D4: FIANAR / AMBALAVAO / ANJA RESERVE / TSARANORO VALLEY (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Ambalavao (1H30 drive – 65km).
Possibility to bike the last 10km of descent before Ambalavao and enjoy the view on the Andrigintra NP and granite mountains. Visit of the Antaimoro paper factory and free lunch.
Then transfer to Anja community forest to observe the ring-tailed lemur. This reserve is a fine example of a successful ecotourism initiative lead by the local community. This site is home to several species of orchids, succulent plants and a colony of ring-tailed lemur easy to observe. Entrance fees and guide charges are directly transferred into a fund used to build clinics, schools and promote rice technologies.
Continuation to Vohitsoaka village (1H drive – 35km). Then we bike the last 10km track to join the Tsaranoro Valley. We enjoy the scenery along the way and arrive to our camp. Free dinner.

D5: TSARANORO VALLEY (B)

Breakfast and day hiking in the Tsaranoro Valley. Between the majestic Tsaranoro massif and the border of the Andrigintra national park, we go for a beautiful hike across the sacred forest to the chameleon peak, then we descend to the valley to visit some Betsileo villages, a school and dispensary.  Free picnic lunch.

D6: TSARANORO VALLEY / FIANAR / AMBOSITRA (B)

Breakfast and departure to Ambositra (6H drive – 270km).
We bike the first 10km track to reach the National road 7. Then drive to Fianar. Free lunch and continuation to Ambositra. We bike another 10km of descent before Ambositra.
Arrival in Ambositra and installation at the hotel. Free dinner.

D7: AMBOSITRA / ANTSIRABE / TANA (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Antsirabe (2H drive – 90km). We bike for 10km along the National Road 7 to enjoy the landscape and scenery. Free lunch in Antsirabe and continuation to Tana (3H30 drive – 170km). arrival in Tana and transfer to your hotel. End of services.
