Flight Tana / Sambava. Arrival in Sambava, reception and departure to Marojejy NP (2H drive). The road follows the Lokoho river and cross vanilla plantation. We arrive in Manantenina village where we start our 3nights/4days trekking in the Marojejy National Park.
Marojejy National Park is located in the northeast of Madagascar. It protects one of the finest mountain environments in Madagascar, with exceptional biological richness, ranging from moist lowland forests to high mountain thickets.
The Marojejy massif hosts exceptional biodiversity: 12 lemur species including the Silky sifaka, which is endemic in the region and seriously threatened. Over 125 bird species, 150 species of reptiles and amphibians, 30 species of palm trees and over 300 species of ferns.
4H walk : Denively +150m
From Manantenina village, we begin our trek to Camp Mantella. We discover the lower wet primary forests. We will have the opportunity to observe several species of reptiles and amphibians, and birds including blue Coua and Helmet Vanga.
Arrival at Camp Mantella (450m altitude) installation to the camp and lunch.
In the afternoon we discover the surroundings of Camp Mantella, visiting the Humbert waterfalls.
Possibility of a night walk in search of brown lemurs, greater dwarf lemur, fork-marked lemur and if lucky the aye-aye.

D2 : CAMP MANTELLA / CAMP MAROJEJIA (B/L/D)
Breakfast and departure to Camp Marojejia.
6h walk ; Denively +800m
Today we observe the rare Silky sifaka endemic to this rainforest. Picnic lunch on the way. Arrival and installation at the camp.
At sunset possibility to go for a night walk around the camp.

D3 : CAMP MAROJEJIA / CAMP MANTELLA / SAMBAVA (B/L/D)
Breakfast and we follow our walk crossing primary forest portions to the national park entrance.

Picnic lunch and departure to Sambava (2H drive). Arrival and installation to the hotel.

D4 : SAMBAVA / VOHEMAR / DARAINA RESERVE (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Vohemar (3H drive) along the Eastern coast. Lunch in a local restaurant and continuation to Daraina reserve (4H of bumpy road).
Arrival and installation at the camp.
At sunset possibility to go for a night walk in search of the rare Aye aye.

D5: DARAINA RESERVE (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the camp and day visit of Daraina special reserve. Lunch at the Camp.
Managed by the Malagasy NGO Fanamby, this reserve is the last natural habitat of the Golden crowned sifaka. The reserve is a deciduous forest, semi evergreen forest and degraded grassland. The forest shelters also other lemur species like the crowned lemur, Daraina sportive lemur, fork-marked lemur, Sandford’s brown lemur, dwarf lemur and Aye aye.
Many birds can be observed like Van Dam’s vanga, sickled-billed vanga, hook-billed vanga, crested coua, Madagascar crested ibis and Madagascar Harrier Hawk

D6: DARAINA RESERVE / VOHEMAR / SAMBAVA (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the camp and departure to Vohemar (4H of bumpy road). Lunch in a local restaurant and continuation to Sambava (3H drive). Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight Sambava / Tana. End of services.
