RDV at your hotel at 08H00 and departure to Antsirabe (3H30 drive), the town of the Pousse Pousse. Arrival and transfer to the hotel, free lunch.
City tour in the afternoon, visit some artisan workshops manufacturing horn and broidery. Visit the local market then return to the hotel. Free dinner.

D2 : ANTSIRABE / AMBOSITRA / RANOMAFANA NP (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Ambositra (2H drive). Visit some woodcarving workshops and marquetry. Free lunch in Ambositra and continuation to Ranomafana NP (4h drive). Arrival and installation to the hotel.
At sunset possibility to go for a night walk to observe the nocturnal fauna: brown mouse lemur, chameleons and frogs. Free dinner.

D3 : RANOMAFANA NP (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and full day dedicated to the discovery of the rainforest of Ranomafana National Park, which houses several species of lemurs as the Golden and Greater bamboo lemur or Milnes-Edwards’ sifaka, chameleons and peacock day gecko. Free picnic lunch. Transfer to the hotel in the afternoon, free dinner.

D4 : RANOMAFANA NP / ANJA RESERVE / RANOHIRA (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the Community reserve of Anja (3h drive) home to a colony of ring-tailed lemur, this site is a fine example of successful ecotourism project. Free lunch in a local restaurant and continuation to Ranohira (4H drive). Arrival and installation at the hotel. Free dinner.

D5: ISALO NP (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and full day dedicated to the discovery of Isalo National Park.
The National Park of Isalo is one of the largest park of the island. The ruiniform massive consists of soft sandstone with several canyons, natural pools and waterfalls. Several sites are discovered, including the Canyon des Makis housing the Verreaux’s Sifaka and Brown lemur, other sites like Namaza and natural swimming pool. The park also houses a rich bird life with the endemic Benson’s rock-thrush or Madagascar kestrel.
Free picnic lunch. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

Night in Ranohira

D6 : RANOHIRA / ZOMBITSE NP / IFATY (B)

Early departure to Zombitse National Park. Visit of the deciduous forest and baobabs, where we can observe the very rare Appert’s greenbul, the giant coua and white-headed vanga. Then continuation to Tulear (3H drive).
Free lunch in Tulear and drive to Ifaty (1H of bumpy road), on the way visit of the Renala Baobab forest. This dry forest shelters a rich birdlife and baobabs with strange forms.
Then transfer to the hotel. Free dinner.

D7 : IFATY /  TULEAR / TANA

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight Tulear / Tana.
